Our Custom Garage Design Process
At Strickland’s Home, our designers and installers will work closely with you to create your dream garage, from the first showroom visit to the final installation. Although each garage renovation has its own unique requirements, our 5-step design process provides a general outline of how we complete your custom garage design.
1. Visit Our Showroom
First, come and see us at our showroom located at 5422 Oleander Drive. Our friendly staff will get to know you, your needs, your personal style, and your budget. Then, we’ll show you a selection of our offerings best suited for what you have in mind. You’re welcome to drop in, but for optimal service, please complete our Let’s Meet form for a scheduled appointment time.

2. We Measure Your Space
Next, we’ll set an appointment for a complementary one-hour measurement of your garage space. According to your schedule, a professional installer will visit your home to measure key dimensions and take note of windows, doors, and other features. This way, we’ll be able to make the most of every available inch for your custom garage storage.
3. We Create Your Custom Garage Design
After we’ve gotten to know your space, we’ll begin designing your dream garage together. With dozens of finishes and hundreds of customization options, we’ll help you discover the perfect style for your personal aesthetic, lifestyle, and inventory. Then, our designers will put together a formal estimate for your custom garage project.
Once you’re satisfied with the final design, we’ll provide our official sales agreement for your signature. Rest assured: the price we quote at this point is our final price; at Strickland’s, there are no hidden or surprise fees. We require a 50% deposit at this meeting, with the remaining 50% due upon installation. After we’ve completed your order, expect a wait time of about 2-6 weeks. We maintain excellent communication with our vendors, so often we can schedule your installation date as well.
Depending on the scale of your garage renovation, we may request one or a few additional visits to your space before our final installation.
4. We Install Your Custom Garage
When your installation date arrives, our professional in-house installers will arrive at your space and get started. They’ll pay careful attention to every detail, leaving a clean and beautifully-organized garage when their work is done. At last, we’ll unveil your custom garage design.
5. Enjoy Your Custom Strickland’s Garage!
Now comes the best part: We’ll leave you to enjoy your new garage space. Whether you’re trying out your custom organization systems, getting wild in your party garage, sitting down at your new work station, or calling the neighbors over for a tour, it’s all yours!
