Hunter Douglas Pirouette® Window Shadings
As one of the latest innovations in window coverings from Hunter Douglas, Pirouette® window shadings bring “artistry to windows”. Combining the functionality of Silhouette with the look of a Roman Shade, Pirouette® Window Shadings are uniquely designed with soft, horizontal fabric vanes attached to a single sheer backing. As a result, Pirouette® window shadings control light in an entirely new way.
Pirouette® Window Shadings offer variable levels of light control as well as the option of an unobstructed view or complete privacy. Hunter Douglas’ patented Invisi-Lift™ system allows the vanes to almost “float” without the hindrance of looking through lift cords. Hunter Douglas describes the operation in this way: “Gently pull on the operating cord and the fabric vanes expand, beautifully filtering the natural light. Pull again and the vanes contract, providing a clear outside view.”
Pirouette® Window Shadings are available with 4” or 5” vanes, in a variety of different fabric textures and colors. These fabrics are available in both light filtering and room darkening options, making them extremely versatile. Choose from seven different fabrics and over 65 different colors. Hunter Douglas Pirouette® Window Shadings come with a standard continuous cord loop operating system, but an upgrade to the Ultraglide® retractable cord system is well worth the investment– no more cords hanging on the window sill or floor. For “techies”, upgrading to the PowerRise® Motorized operating system is a must!
