Many years ago my mom purchased vertical blinds from Strickland’s for her new home in Bolivia. This family home was recently turned over to me and some of the plastic clips have deteriorated over time. I went to the store in Wilmington to get new clips and was greeted graciously by Keecha and told her what I was looking for. I, unfortunately, did not have clip with me. Keecha sent me home with the clips she thought would work. She then followed up with a text showing all the possible clips for these particular blinds. I returned to the store to pick up the clips. Keecha provided outstanding customer service and it truly was a pleasant experience. It was my first visit to the new location and I found it to be a beautiful store with many options other than blinds and shades. We recently built a garage and I loved the garage organization section and hope to be returning soon for Keecha’s help with that! I had a little blind repair and they never acted like it was to small to mess with. Sarah Bazzini was great to work with. Now I have them coming to my home to service and repairs some automatic curtains. I suggest everyone use them for all their custom blinds and curtains! Everything from the designing, scheduling and installation was seamless. I’ve received so many compliments from family and friends who have seen the garage. So a few weeks ago (mid January 2025) I noticed a slow water leak on an outside spicket. My builder came by since the house was still under a year old and thought that the leak might have developed now from the installation of the cabinets on the other side of the spicket. When I called Strickland’s I wasn’t expecting them to be so responsive. They sent a crew out to disassemble and remove an entire cabinet and slatwall the following day. It turned out the leak had nothing to do with the installation and it was a slow leak from within the back of the spicket. Strickland’s then sent the same crew back out within a couple days to re-install the cabinet and slatwall. That is amazing service and a business that stands behind their product. This past Fall my wife and I decided to look into converting our warm weather screen porch into something we could convert into an addition with 6 foot glass and screen into a 10’ by 14’ all season additional room off our dining room and overlooking our outside pool and backyard. We used Porch Conversions here in Wilmington to do the job which we had a super great experience that we will always applaud. We had a fan for summer air conditioning and added an electric fireplace with a mantel and another smart TV over it. White wicker and white wrought iron furnishing filled the porch but something was missing. It was white shades to provide us with privacy at night with the open porch opening to our neighbors view into our house. We then went back out to our Wilmington community to check on purchasing shades for the final touches of our conversion. After a thorough investigation of suppliers we chose Strickland’s on Oleander Drive here. We chose the type of shades we wanted with immediate same day help with the measurements and surprisingly 2 week delivery and the following week installment. It again was a wonderful mix of professionals that couldn’t be more professional and helpful. The two companies provided us with an experience we will never forget and highly recommend. In fact two panels of shades had frayed on the edges a bit when pulled up and down and were reported by the installer to the company. 2 weeks later they were replaced by Strickland’s with no charges.
